FREEDOM

Brian and I took a break from it all yesterday, really ALL- from work, kiddo, dog, home, cooking, cleaning, watering the garden…. We almost completely logged out of the world (well almost ).  It was a refreshing, invigorating, and much needed day.  The kind of day that makes you appreciate life and the world around us, and more importantly the people.
I am thinking day of freedom should be a respected and documented holiday.  I might approach the president or congress, does anyone know who makes these decisions?
The day started out like any other day, got up, let the dog out- fed the dog, played with the dog, yelled at the dog for barking and waking everyone else up!  I then got ready for “work” as I told Tommy (Sorry kiddo if you ever read this blog). I dropped Tommy off at day care and then gleefully drove home to my quiet house.
We spent the morning leisurely drinking coffee, catching up and getting ready for our adventure.  We had planned our day of freedom more than a month ago (spontaneity is definitely not our thing anymore).
Some photos from our day of freedom … are you ready to start planning your own?
