Hurricane Irene *lucky* for us was not much of a danger.  We managed to avoid loosing our electricity, any damage to the house, or injury to anyone in our family or neighbors and for that I am thankful.  What we did experience, do to the impending storm, was some good old fashion family time and dare I say fun?

We played, danced,ran around the house, put on the hurricane 5 , drank some “juice” and even went out to the beach to experience the winds and watch the waves (like all the other crazy fools).    Here are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend that Irene visited.

I am thankful we were able to have such a good time.  My heart goes out to all those that really felt Irene and are still cleaning up from the aftermath.
