Connect your Home with the Best Deal

Are questions like this popping up in your household too?

Are we paying too much for cable?  Should we just use the computer to watch shows?  Is that bundle really worth it, I never even use the home phone ?  Could I (gulp) live without HBO and Top Model??? Um the answer is no.

Connect your Home is a site that allows you to find cable service by area code & zip code and start hashing out what you really want/need and what you are willing to pay for the services.  One of the reviews on the site sounds about right when it describes Connect your Home’s web-site with that of a low low cost travel site, like Orbitz.  I know most of us, if not all of us, rely on web-sites to find the best deals, so why not investigate our home entertainment services the same way- sounds good to me.  There is absolutely no cost to the service and you are not obligated to buy anything- just read the info and be on your way to make your own decisions, or call Connect your Home and they will call the company for you and set up the deal.

So if you are ready, like me, to figure out if you are paying way to much for the cheesy television shows that you watch, after everyone else goes to sleep, then check out Connect your Home and find out if you can save a few bucks on your services or if there is a bundle that will work best for you.

Sounds like a great service. I don’t have to worry about it,because I only use Netflix, and we only have one option for internet in our area other then dial-up.:/

Surprisingly never heard of this service, sounds interesting. I will have to check them out. Ever since they started allowing us to choose our electric provider, I’m so confused on who to pick. Maybe they can help me!

We just recently cut back on our satelite provider’s package, from a $60 monthly plan to the most basic package they offered which is right around $15 per month. There’s really only 1 station I miss. I sure don’t miss the bill! lol

Good to know! I like to check around every so often to be sure I’m not paying too much. It seems like the prices are always changing so it’s hard to keep up. This would sure save a lot of work!

Paying to much still… we are still trying to figure out what we need, versus what we want and how to meet somewhere in the middle. DVR is great, but I really am so far behind at this point.

Hello, oh I need this because it just seems that the cable bill is going up and up and there must be a cheaper way. Thanks for pointing us in the right direction.

This is good to know. I hate the service I have now, but have no clue what other places are in my area.

I never knew this service existed. We cut our cable last year since we adults were not watching it and did not want the kids to watch too much tv. At a young age, little to no tv is best. Many shows can now be watched online anyway. Thanks for sharing!
