I am really enjoying my son’s superhero phase…or at least I think it is a phase?  Our family is all about superman, batman and robin, and spiderman right now.  Our mornings often start out in costume and our nights end with a book or two about the adventures of our friends the superheroes.

I am all for it!  I love reading about superheroes and also welcome the discussion of what a superhero means- a good person, helps those in need, and of course listens to his mom and dad

I was SUPER excited to have the opportunity to check out and review the SuperMe cape backpack .  The back packs and messenger bags are made by two super mom’s who were inspired to create this business by their own little superheroes.  I love supporting mom’s in business and there is no doubt that the best ideas come from kids themselves.

I chose the classic cape back pack and the pirate patch for my son.  I forgot to mention above that we are going through a super hero and pirate phase… so I felt that combo was perfect.  An interesting thing that happened when I presented Tommy with the cape back pack was.. he studied it for awhile.  He actually spent time looking at all the details and then opening and shutting all of the clips. For at least 10 minutes he checked out the bag.

The cape back pack has a cape that you can tuck away or have out like the pictures above.  I think that is pretty neat in case you want to hide the cape away for awhile and take a break from your superhero status.  Another great thing is the straps- it is truly a bag that will grow with your child.  You can adjust the straps to make it fit their size just right.  The quality of the material is also something that will make the backpack last a long time.

I have been trying to get a picture of my son with his favorite new cape backpack, but when you are faster than a speeding bullet it is really hard to snap a picture.  If I can catch one I will update this post at a later date
