I insist on going green on everything practical, not only for the world but also for our wallet. I rarely use any disposable items such as paper towels or ziploc bags or paper plates. Even at large parties disposable servingware is tabu in my house. Everything recyclable is recycled. Vegetable and fruit scraps are tossed into the woods to try to reduce amt in landfills. We don’t have enough to actively compost. Unplug electronics, consolidate errands (car trips). Clothesline drying a lot.
    etc etc Rummage sales!
